Hi, Could you please assist me in how to remove the text after measuring distance (ex: text distance 2.0 A) in the Chimera session. Thank you. Kind regards, Priyanka

Hi Priyanka, If you mean you want to keep the pseudobond (the line between the atoms) and just remove the text, then use menu: Tools... Structure Analysis... Distances. In that dialog, change the Labels setting from "Distance" to "None" The Distances tool is described here <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/ContributedSoftware/structuremeas/structuremeas.html#distances> Or if you want to remove both the line and the text, then one way is command: ~distance <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/distance.html> Another way is to use the Distances tool mentioned above: in that tool, click on the row for that measurement and then click the "Remove" button. I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Meng, Ph.D. UCSF Chimera(X) team Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco
