Hello, I have three chains in the protein, and I want to only view one of the chains. How do I hide the other two chains, so that the only chain that is seen on the Chimera viewer is the one I want to manipulate? Thanks!
Hello, There are several ways, but you could select the chain of interest, invert selection, and then hide selection. For example, menu: Select… Chain… B Select… Invert (selected models) Actions… Ribbons… hide Actions… Atoms/Bonds… hide -OR- commands: ~ribbon ~ :.B ~display ~ :.B I recommend trying one or more of the “getting started” tutorial(s) for becoming familiar with Chimera. <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/Outreach/Tutorials/GettingStarted.html> <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/frametut.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
