HI I am trying to use the app for my gene but When I try to open the gene in the Chimera because it shows me an error. Please reply me as soon as possible Thank you IMPORTANT NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER The information in this e-mail and any attachments is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material. Sorry, but it is not possible to answer this question without much more information. You would have to say exactly what you did: Is "your gene" a file? Is it a sequence, or is a 3D structure? What format is the file? What steps did you use to open it (menu? command?)? What was the error message? It may be that you did something wrong. However, if you really think there is a bug in the program, do not send e-mail here. Instead, right after you get the error, use menu: Help... Report a Bug and enter all the information needed for us to generate the same error when we try the same steps, including attaching the input file if you have one, and including your e-mail address if you want an answer. Then the report automatically includes the error message, and what kind of computer you are using, and what version of Chimera you are using. Good luck, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
