Hi, is it possible to define surfaces that seamlessly span multiple models? when i define a surface category spanning multiple models, i always get distinct surfaces around each model. saving as a single pdb and re-importing does not help, since then i have the same problem with multiple submodels... thanks for any help! cheers, nils

Hi Nils, If there are not too many chains total, you could try using the "copy/ combine" function in the Model Panel, or equivalently, the "combine" command, to merge the multiple models into one. <http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/ modelpanel.html#combine> <http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/combine.html> Best, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
