Hello, Is there anyway to generate a sausage view (see the attached image) by using Chimera? My apologies if I missed something/or this has been discussed before. Thanks in advance, Regards, Lalit

Hi Lalit, Yes, there is a "worms" representation, where the fatness of the worm can be used to show values of any numerical residue property. Some examples of residue properties: average bfactor, amino acid hydrophobicity, conservation in a sequence alignment, RMSD at that position within an NMR ensemble. Worms can be displayed using the "Render by Attribute" tool (under Tools... Depiction in the menu). <http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/ContributedSoftware/render/render.html#render> I hope this helps, Elaine ---------- Elaine C.
