Hi everyone: I am sure this can be done in Chimera, but I just could not find the proper command - I want to simply rotate a pdb file by let's say 90 degrees. Now, if I want to also rotate a map (so both map and pdb at the same time), what would I use? Can anyone help? Many thanks!!! Hi Alex, You could use the command "turn," for example turn y 90 would turn all active models 90 degrees around the "laboratory" Y axis, which is vertical in the plane of the screen. You could instead specify some axis in the coordinate system of a model, or specify that only certain models should move, specify the center of rotation etc. -- details are in the manual page for "turn": <http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/turn.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ---------- Elaine C.
