I am wondering what would be the best way to link three EM maps using Morph Map? I have three sequential conformations of a protein and I would like to show a movie morphing from 1 to 2 to 3 if possible. Thanks in advance for any tips. Hi Chris, In Morph Map dialog only allows morphing between two maps. But the "vop morph" command (new in Chimera 1.4, get release candidate) can morph between any number of maps: http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/vop.html#morph The command would look like vop morph #0,1,2 constantVolume true model #5 This morphs from map #0 to #1 to #2. The "constantVolume true" option means to adjust the contour level so the enclosed volume stays constant. The "model #5" just gives the number for the map that the command creates. It is useful to specify that so that if you run the command again it simply reuses that map instead of creating another copy. There are more options to control how fine the steps should be, scale factors, how many frames (bounces back and forth 0->1->2->1->0 if more frames are given), and others in the manual page listed above.
