Those old graphics profiles were replaced more than 10 years and I have never seen a graphics driver in recent years that only offers legacy profiles. As the error messages says in your ChimeraX window "Try updating your graphics driver". That is the only solution. You do not have to use an Nvidia driver. You can use a modern Mesa driver (which will be slower when displaying large data).
