Hi Rayees, ChimeraX has a "vseries" command for playback, and also you may need to open the files using the "vseries" option of the "open" command. See "Trajectories, Model Series, Volume Series" and links therein: <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/trajectories.html> The slider graphical interface (see "vseries slider") has a button to record a movie, <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/trajectories.html> ....or for a fancier movie that includes other actions, you can create a ChimeraX command file including "vseries" for volume series playback, and "movie" commands to record and encode the movie (and any other commands for changing the view, display, colors, 2D labels and arrows, etc.). See "Making movies": <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/movies.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Hi, I want to play a volume series in chimeraX. There is an option "volume series" in chimera but could not find the equivalent option in chimeraX. Also, is it possible to 'movie record' the volume series while it is playing? Any suggestion would be helpful. Best
