Just to complete the answer in the case other users have this problem as well ;

After I installed the updated ChimeraX-daily.deb Ubuntu 18 package, I had to clean the hidden directories ChimeraX creates in the user's $HOME in order for the plugin to be available.

It works properly now, thank for the good work!

Hi Florian,

  Ok, it will be fixed in tonight's ChimeraX builds.  The Makefile to install Segger was broken on Linux.

Hi ChimeraX users developers and maintainers,

I've been able to experiment with  the segment map feature provided by Segger package on the Mac daily-build, on a colleague's Mac.

However I downloaded the Linux daily build on my Linux machine and it appears that this function is not present in the menu. Is it a bug or is the "segment map" feature only available to Mac ?

If this is the case, would someone be able to give some guidance on how to port the feature to Linux ? I'm quite experienced in C, C++, Java and Python coding, having the coding skills shouldn't be an issue in order to do it.

Thanks,

Florian W
