Hi Tom,

Good to know that auto-scroll is the intended behavior. I can't reproduce this now, though I've definitely been bothered by it several times in recent days/weeks. I have quit and restarted ChimeraX a few times in the last hour and can't think what steps led to this state. When I next see this behavior, I'll report a bug.

Cheers,
Alexis

Hi Alexis,

The Log always scrolls to the bottom for me every time I enter a command or click a toolbar button that logs a command.  So if it is not scrolling to the bottom when you enter commands something is wrong.  My test was on Mac with ChimeraX 1.7.  If it is not working that way for you then use Help / Report a Bug so we know what operating system you are on and what ChimeraX version you are using.
