Hello, Yes, ChimeraX and Chimera are different programs, and Python scripts for Chimera are not expected to work in ChimeraX. Although I’m not aware of a script for ChimeraX that did all the same stuff as the Chimera one, I believe that in ChimeraX you can still open your original map (that was input to ResMap) and the local-resolution map (output from Resmap), and then color the surface of your original map by the values in the local-resolution map using the command “color sample”: <http://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/color.html#map> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Hello The python script for mapping the RESMAP local resolution output does not work in ChimeraX. Has anybody modified it so that it does? Or written a new script with the same purpose for ChimeraX.
