Hi David, You can draw bars like that with the Color Key tool (menu: Tools... Depiction... Color Key). You just have to enter the color values and any other appearance parameters that you want yourself if you want to make a color key for a 2D plot such as the PAE plot. <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/tools/colorkey.html> If you were coloring the 3D structure (color byattribute, etc. as mentioned in the help page linked above), however, then there would be an option to also bring up the Color Key tool already set to the same colors were using. The PAE plot color information is given in the help page for "AlphaFold Error Plot": <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/tools/alphafold.html#pae> If you view the source for that HTML page it will give you the hex codes of the specific shades of green so that you can enter them into the Color Key tool. In the Color Key tool, if you click a colored rectangle it will bring up your system color-chooser which should have some way of entering a hex code. Or (less fancy) you could just save an image of that part of the help page using your computer's screenshot mechanism. I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Does anyone know if a reference-type PAE bar exists for the ChimeraX PAE plot when using the Rainbow (orange/yellow/blue) selection? Something similar to what AF provides for the (green) scale (below) or the electro-charge (blue/white/red) maps? Rainbow provides a nice visual range, but I couldn't find an associated score reference.
