Hi Krish,

  SteamVR is not connected to any VR headset as it says in your screenshot.  That is probably why ChimeraX says failed to initialize OpenVR.  It can't initialize unless a device is actually connected to SteamVR.  I guess you are trying to use your SpatialLabs 3D display.  Rex Lin from Acer said yesterday that he got this to work

   "We were able to use our SteamVR bridge to bridge Chimerax via OpenVR with our Acer OpenXR runtime. By using the “vr on” command, we were able to show 3D successfully on our display."

I think the key here was "use our SteamVR bridge".  I don't know what Rex means by "SteamVR bridge" but I guess that is crucial to getting it to work.  Rex asked about making ChimeraX OpenXR work with the SpatialLabs display which is the right solution.  But I don't have a SpatialLabs display so I am not able to do any debugging to make it work.
