Dear ChimeraX developers, I have a question regarding coloring of a surface representation of an atomic model. I open the pdb file and turn on surface representation with the command, surface #1 resolution 6 This works just fine. Then I color the surface by command, color #1 skyblue This also works fine. And then I want to color the surface of only a range of residues using the command, color #1:50-86 indigo target s But nothing happens. The reply log says that 1 surface was colored but no color changes is seen in the surface representation. Am I missing something in the color command for surfaces?? Any help is appreciated!
