Hi Dmitry, Unfortunately ChimeraX does not have scriptable independent rotation, sorry. The only similar thing is that you can set models to rotate independently when moved with the mouse: the "rotate independent" mouse mode available in ChimeraX 1.4 or newer. For example: mousemode right "rotate independent" ...to set right mouse button to that mode. <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/ui.html#mousemode> I don't know how you could make such a movie. Maybe you could separate movies (saving all the image frames) and use some other program to paste the image frames side by side to combine them into one movie, but I haven't tried it myself.
