The problem has probably gone away.  We have been seeing  daily 1-2 minute outages due to overloading by bots.   And you were just unlucky.

To confirm that hypothesis, please contact me directly with more information so I can find the issue in our log files.  Specifically, I need the IP addresses that are contacted the web site, when the failures happened, and which URLs failed.

The website is not loading and if it does there are many missing images. Please let me know when it works because I need my students to download ChimeraX before Thursday morning.
