Hi Yang, We changed the code to give the focus to windows that are showing themselves, which seemed like a harmless improvement, but might be a problem when that window is the Log. Can you describe your usage scenario where giving the Log the focus is interfering with what you are doing, so I can examine alternatives that might work better (or, if I can't find one, then revert to the previous behavior). Downloaded the above Daily (macOS 14.5, Universal), primarily for the workaround retrieving mmCIFs containing an underscore (#15557). I noticed that the Log toolpanel steals focus whenever it updates. Perhaps something that has already been dealt with? Otherwise, thought I should post it here.
