Sorry, my mail display did not make it clear that those files you attached were images. These volume display options are not in a GUI currently, but they are all in the "volume" command, e.g. see <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/volume.html#dispsurf> I hope this helps, Elaine

Hello, When you are showing volume data there is automatically a Volume Viewer panel included in the window. Near the right end of it above the histogram is a menu, probably says "surface" if the map is currently shown as a surface -- click on that to show menu and choose "mesh" instead.

Or you can use a command, e.g.
volume all style mesh
