So presently even an approximate method that would allow to apply such rotation for any number models described in your message "roll models #1-6 center independent" still has not been integrated, right ? but currently there is no such option. I'm not quite sure what such an option would look like. In your example you use "center #1 & protein". In the prior discussion I think the idea was something like "roll models #1-6 center independent" and this would be the same as using "center #1", not "center #1 & protein". But you raise an interesting case where you want to have finer control over the rotation center. For instance, what if I had several homolog structures and I wanted to rotate each about a specific residue or active site ligand, e.g "center #1:215".
