So, officially ChimeraX requires Windows 10.  But I just tried it on a Windows 7 computer, and it seemed to work.  So, the likely problem is that your graphics driver needs updating or that the graphics card is too old to run ChimeraX.  If you run the dxdiag program (via the start menu), and click on the "Save All Information" button, and send me (just me, not the whole mailing list), the resulting text file, then I will check if that hypothesis is correct and get back to you.

And remember that, at this time, ChimeraX is like an "early access" game.  If you actually want to get work done, you should use Chimera instead.
