Dear Yanhe, I may not understand what you mean by "contour range" ... I am guessing you just mean the range of values in the map, as shown in the histogram in Volume Viewer. The "molmap" command resolution value and also the "sigmaFactor" and "cutoffRange" options would all have some effect: <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/molmap.html> Also after you use "molmap," you could use "volume scale" to multiply all the values by some factor: <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/volume.html#scale> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Dear developer,
I have docked several pdb to my reference map, there are still large area of density have not assigned any models. Right now I am doing molmap onGrid of reference map, the contour range of new generated became pretty narrow and start from 0. I was wondering which option I can use to define the contour range?
Thanks and best regards, Yanhe
