
So that depends on which ChimeraX distribution release you installed. If it was the generic Linux version, you can just rm it. If it was one of the CentOS or Ubuntu packages, you should use the system's tool for managing packages. You might need administrative privileges. FYI, I would not recommend the generic Linux distribution, it is a lowest common denominator version, that is now too low for most recent Linux distributions (and yet too new for CentOS 7).
