Thanks for pointing that out.  I'll update the OS used to do the generic build from Debian 8 to Debian 10.  glibc needs to be version 2.28 or newer for Qt 6  to work.  Progress will be tracked in your ticket, https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/trac/ChimeraX/ticket/6970.  But should be done within a day or two.
