My previous answer was in regards to the VPAT. Regarding the country of development, ChimeraX development is at University of California, San Francisco, and is funded by US governmental agencies. ChimeraX can be downloaded free of charge for academic, government, nonprofit, and personal use. The main thing to know is that ChimeraX is for visual analysis and not meant for use by those with severe visual impairments.
