
It looks like you removed /usr/bin/chimerax by hand before removing the package. If you add the symbolic link back with "sudo ln -s ../../usr/lib/ucsf-chimerax/bin/ChimeraX /usr/bin/chimerax", it should work. That is the symbolic link for Ubuntu. For RHEL derived systems, like Rocky and AlmaLinux, it would be ../libexec/UCSF-ChimeraX/bin/ChimeraX. -- Greg On 1/6/2025 2:25 AM, saverio via ChimeraX-users wrote:
