Hi Junjie, See the ChimeraX documentation for "volume series," the bottom paragraph: <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/trajectories.html> As explained in that link, you may need to (a) use the "vseries" option of the "open" command (b) use wildcards or globbing to specify the multiple files in the "open" command with one general name, e.g. myfile*.tif (c) these maps all have to be the same size in each dimension <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/open.html#vseries> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Hi Elaine,
Thank you very much. This is really helpful.
May I ask another question? Do you know how to open a stack of volumes and show them as a movie in the ChimeraX? I know that can be displayed in the "Volume Series" under the volume tab in Chimera, but I can't find it in the ChimeraX. Please let me know if you have any ideas by any chance.
Thanks, Jianming
