
Hi Carol, The message should probably make it more obvious, but you can register using ChimeraX menu: Tools... Utilities... Registration. Registration isn't required (you would still be using the program legitimately either way), but the message may be annoying, so registering will get rid of it! In recent versions of ChimeraX the registration window may come up scrunched and only show the top bar (e.g. see bottom right "Registration" bar right above the command line in attached screenshot), but you can drag it out to a separate window and resize it as needed. I recently downloaded ChimeraX after many years of using Chimera. I keep getting the following warning message:

I assume this means I should re-register, but I can’t find any mechanism to do that. Sorry for my stupidity, but I do want to be using the software legitimately.
