Thank you very much for the quick response :)

Yes chimeraX 1.4 works good, I just use Isolde a lot and am hesitant to go to 1.4 as I think Isolde will not install there.  Probably the best is just to wait right?   I mean I can see the log if I need to using  "log save chimerx.html"

Update your ChimeraX installation to the 1.4 release candidate for Ubuntu 22.04.  You need the newer version of the Qt user interface toolkit that comes with 1.4 (and the corresponding code changes in ChimeraX).

Hi, I was wondering if you have some suggestions for me to solve a problem I have after upgrading to ubuntu 22.04.  I am running UCSF ChimeraX version: 1.3 (2021-12-08) and after upgrading ubuntu the log window in the GUI has no text.  If I use the command "log save chimerx.html" and open chimerax.html in a browser I can see everything I expect in the log. It is just not being displayed.  I installed using the Ubuntu 20.04 (Linux) 64-bit deb on the download page.

many thanks for your help in advance
