Hi James,

ChimeraX is not able to read the PyMol session file format (.pse).  There is some Python that defines a ChimeraX command that can restore a PyMol camera view in ChimeraX here

https://rbvi.github.io/chimerax-recipes/pymol_view/pymol_view.html

Did you know PyMol was developed at UCSF by Warren DeLano at the same time we were developing Chimera.  Warren proposed that we make a common molecular visualization file format in the 1990s that both PyMol and Chimera would use but it was always too daunting a task.

Tom

Is there a simple way to open a PYMOL pse file in chimera?
