Hi Tony, I’m not 100% sure what the taskbar is, but I can get the menu bar to show by moving my mouse to the top of the screen, and I can get the Dock to show by moving my mouse to the bottom of the screen. Nonetheless, I will add a “maximized” option as well, so you can use that instead. Should be in tomorrow’s build. —Eric

Thanks for making that change! I don't think full screen is exactly what I wanted, as I can't see my taskbar with ChimeraX focused and I have to alt-tab out. I was thinking of something more like what QWindow.showMaximized() does.

Hi Tony, Good suggestion. I’ve added “full screen” to the list of preferred startup window sizes in the Window preferences. It will be in tomorrow’s daily build.

I've got the window size set to 'last used' and I almost always maximize ChimeraX. With this combo, ChimeraX starts out the size of my screen, but not maximized.
