Hi Oliver, Adding those to the buttons in the Model Panel doesn’t fit the paradigm that the right-side buttons work on the models chosen in the left side of the panel (or all models if none chosen). Putting them elsewhere in the panel would either be awkward or obscure, depending on the choice of implementation. The other issue is that unlike Chimera, models are in a hierarchy. In some cases you would want to cycle across the top level of the hierarchy, in others across a sub-level (e.g. NMR ensemble). Ideally, they would probably be best as toolbar icons, but the toolbar isn’t yet customizable by the user. It could also possibly be a right-mouse mode (click to go forward and shift-click to go back). This would still involve guesstimating how to handle the hierarchy. Your best bet right now is to use the mseries slider command to specify what models you want to cycle through. You can then either use the displayed slider to zoom through the models, or use up and down arrow in the type-in field to go forward and back one at a time. —Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab

I use the Next/Previous buttons in the lower portion of the Chimera GUI all the time for quickly cycling through maps/models (e.g. when inspecting the results of 3D classification). Would it be possible to bring these to the model panel on ChimeraX?
