Greg,

My desktop has UHD Graphics 630 version 26.20.100.6952 from 6/11/2019.

Do you still recommend installing the 530 driver, version  31.0.101.2115 from 2022/12/28?

,

Thanks.

Yong

When there are weird problems running ChimeraX, it is often related to bugs in the graphics driver.

In fact, I was able to reproduce your problem with a Windows 10 system with Intel HD Graphics 530 version 26.20.100.7262 from 2019/09/25.

The solution was to go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/, search for Intel HD Graphics 530 drivers, and then install the driver version 31.0.101.2115 from 2022/12/28.

You can see what driver you have by running the dxdiag program, and then go to the Display tab.
