Hi Dario, ChimeraX is open source. It used to be possible to git clone the repository via https, but that may have vanished when the server for the git-repository was updated recently. I've asked the people in the lab who manage the git repository, will post when I find out the URL, and I will add it to the docs. If you are curious about just a few files you can browse the ChimeraX Git repository here: https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/trac/ChimeraX/browser <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/trac/ChimeraX/browser> Tom

Hello,
I was interested in reading the ChimeraX source code but found only this site
https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/devel/conventions.html
which references a git repo that is password protected. Is the source code not freely available?
Best Wishes Dario Eltzner
