Hi Noah, It was designed that the ribbon representations can only be hidden/shown per residue (N-CA-C unit , not half of that) and the secondary structure ribbon starts/ends are shown at the CA position. However, there is an undocumented command option "cartoon style ssEnds long" which I thought was removed in 2018 but apparently can be used even in a recent daily build. The reason we meant to remove (or at least not document) this option is that it only works on some of the ends (those not preceded by coil, if I remember correctly). You can try it and see if it works for the strands that you are showing. To put it back to default use "cartoon style ssEnds short" . I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Hi,
I'm trying to make an image where I've clipped a bunch of beta strands that together form a barrel. I want to have them end simply as arrows rather than continuing to show that small remaining tube of the subsequent loop.
Any advice?
