Hi David,

ChimeraX can work from any computer with standalone Quest 3 VR by sending models to the headset using a Quest app called LookSee that I developed.  There is a ChimeraX "Send to Quest" user interface that lets you press a button to send the current scene to the VR headset.  Here are details about using this

If instead you want ChimeraX to directly control the VR headset so you can using ChimeraX tools directly in the headset, for example with VR headset tethered by a cable or via wifi, that only works on Windows.  Apple and Mac computers don't support any of the community standards OpenXR or SteamVR that allow that kind of PC VR.  Linux supposedly does support it but so few people use VR in Linux (I'd guess 99% Windows, 1% Linux for VR) that I would not suggest trying that unless you have a lot of time.  For ChimeraX PC VR using Windows here is info

Has anyone managed to make chimeraX VR work on an ARM Mac with meta quest 3? Possible or am I flogging a dead horse?
