Hi Juan, The error in the file is that one of your values has quotation marks around it. Namely, this line in your defattr file: /A:10 "70 " If I edit it to remove the quotation marks and space so that it is just a number like all the other lines, then it works fine to assign your numerical attribute and it is automatically shown in the Render/Select by Attribute dialog. For the mailing list, I'm told that your address juan.ortiz-mateu@uv.es <mailto:juan.ortiz-mateu@uv.es> is not in the list, but maybe you are signed up with some other email address that gets forwarded? You would need to email chimerax-users-leave@cgl.ucsf.edu <mailto:chimerax-users-leave@cgl.ucsf.edu> from that other address that is actually the same as the one you signed up with, or let us know what that email address is. I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Dear ChimeraX team,
I’ve created a .deffatr file to color residues in a chain by a custom attribute (attached). It seems that ChimeraX opens it correctly:
open "/Users/ortizmateujuan/MEGA/MEGAsync/MemProtLab_UV/PROYECTOS LAB/Proyecto F1L VaccV/Alphafold/scanF1L.defattr" Summary of feedback from opening /Users/ortizmateujuan/MEGA/MEGAsync/MemProtLab_UV/PROYECTOS LAB/Proyecto F1L VaccV/Alphafold/scanF1L.defattrnote Assigned attribute 'ld50' to 17 residues using match mode: 1-to-1
However, when I go to Render/Select by attribute, it does not appear on the list, and when I try with commands it says:
color byattribute ld50 palette ^rdylbu No known/registered numeric attribute ld50
Could you help me with this? Thank you very much.
PS. I want to unsubscribe to this mailing list. I have tried emailing chimerax-users-leave@cgl.ucsf.edu many times but I keep receiving these emails. Could you do it for me please? Thanks again.
