Dear ChimeraX Team,

I’m trying to use ChimeraX on my VM (Ubuntu 20.04.01), but I’m having the error on the screenshot attached below.

I tried to update OpenGL to 3.3, and on the terminal it seems that it installed everything but then when I try to open again I’m getting the same issue.

I tried to update OpenGL following this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/comments/8tpq05/how_can_update_my_display_driver_to_opengl_33/

But always when I do the command: glxinfo | grep "OpenGL version" , it shows: “OpenGL version string: 3.1 Mesa 21.0.3”.

Not sure why it is not updating to 3.3 while all the other packages are upgraded.

Could you please advice?
