Hi Matthias, Okay, in tomorrow's build if you prefix the residue type with "seq:" then the letters will be interpreted as one-letter codes, so: swapaa :1-3 ALA will change the first three residues to alanines, whereas: swapaa :1-3 seq:ALA will change them to alanine-leucine-alanine. --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab

Dear ChimeraX team,
A small feature request: It would be helpful if the swapaa command could accept the single letter code for amino acids as well as the three letter code. This makes it easy to quickly fix a sequence, i.e based on a sequence that is open in the sequence viewer.
Many thanks,
Matthias _______________________________________________ ChimeraX-users mailing list -- chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu <mailto:chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu> To unsubscribe send an email to chimerax-users-leave@cgl.ucsf.edu <mailto:chimerax-users-leave@cgl.ucsf.edu> Archives: https://mail.cgl.ucsf.edu/mailman/archives/list/chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu/ <https://mail.cgl.ucsf.edu/mailman/archives/list/chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu/>
