I should have also mentioned that right-clicking on the command line and unchecking "Typed Commands Only" in the resulting context menu will also show commands generated by tools and menus and not just the ones you typed yourself.

HI André,
There are no "secret session files" saved unfortunately, no.  The best I have is that you can at least see all the commands you recently used from the "Command History" available from the drop-down triangle to the right of the command line.  You may be able to execute some set of those commands to perhaps get close to what you had -- depending how much of the state was due to mouse motions.

Dear all, happy Holidays!

I am not very optimistic about this one, but I will just drop the question here and it may simply be that I am unaware of this function: I had a ChimeraX session crashing just when I was about to save it for the first time… is there any way to recover unsaved ChimeraX session, such as temporarily saved files?

Thank you,
André
