Hello Chiara,
There is no graphical interface for this in ChimeraX, but the "fly" command seems to do what you want: "Fly uses cubic interpolation to smoothly traverse a series of views previously named and saved with view name." (I haven't used it yet).

I hope this helps,

Hello,
I would like to make movies as I used to with chimera using scenes so that smooth transitions to show different things can then be tweaked to modify figures if needed. Is it possible with chimeraX?
I didn’t see anything about it?
I remember there was a thread about saving each scene separately which is what I do as cxs, but I have not seen anything about putting the scenes together to make a movie. Can anybody help, or could this be implemented in chimeraX if it is not available?
Also another feature that I miss about chimera is the ability to select a colour palette from colorbrew. I still do that manually, but in Chimera that was a choice in the list and it makes figure making so much easier.
Thank you for all the nice work on the tool anyway.
Best,
Chiara
