Fuzzy colour boundaries in protein cartoon

Dear ChimeraX team and users, Is there a way to set colours of individual atoms to have a fuzzy boundary with the surrounding cartoon colour? Example picture attached. Normally, colouring individual atoms will create a solid line between one colour and the next. But is there a setting to change this? Many thanks

Sorry no, I can't think of any way to achieve blurred-out coloring on the ribbon. Regards, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Meng, Ph.D. UCSF Chimera(X) team Resource for Biocomputing, Visualization, and Informatics Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco
