Dear ChimeraX list, does anybody have experience with installing and running ChemiraX on remote desktop? we want to use it with NiceDCV. Thanks and best wishes friedrich -- prof. dr. Hi Friedrich, It seems to depend on what system you are running Nice DCV on. Apparently it works on CENTOS 7 but not Suse 12. I don’t know about other systems. I will be investigating why it doesn’t always work, but it’s a tricky interaction between the backend Chromium process and the DCVD server, so I’m not guaranteeing any kind of success in finding a solution, but, you know, maybe. :-) Anyway, at this stage it’s try it and see! —Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab
