Dear ChimeraX list,
does anybody have experience with installing and running ChemiraX on remote desktop? we want to use it with NiceDCV.
Thanks and best wishes
friedrich
Hi Friedrich, It seems to depend on what system you are running Nice DCV on. Apparently it works on CENTOS 7 but not Suse 12. I don’t know about other systems. I will be investigating why it doesn’t always work, but it’s a tricky interaction between the backend Chromium process and the DCVD server, so I’m not guaranteeing any kind of success in finding a solution, but, you know, maybe. :-) Anyway, at this stage it’s try it and see!
