Hi again,
it is possible to use vseries play #1 loop true, but the same command with mseries doesn't work. Same with oscillate or similar commands.
I've also tried mseries #1.1-20-1 or mseries #1.20-1 but these 2 commands don't work.
Is there a way to make the movement go back to the origin?
Thank you Vincent
Hi Vincent,
The the way to play a series in reverse with mseries is to use the step option with step -1, for example
open 1r7w mseries #1 step -1
Unfortunately I guess no one ever tried it and it gave an error. But I just fixed that bug and the November 4, 2023 ChimeraX daily build will have that fix. You would need to use two separate mseries commands to play forward and then play backward.
