So if you used yum or dnf to install ChimeraX, you should use the yum/dnf to remove it.  And that works if you didn't alter the ChimeraX installation.  To confirm that ChimeraX was installed with yum/dnf, run:     rpm -qa | grep chimerax If you have a ChimeraX production build, you will see that the package name is ucsf-chimerax.   If it is a daily build, the package name is ucsf-chimerax-daily. So in your case, run:     sudo dnf remove ucsf-chimerax But it might fail because you did the "ChimeraX_main.py --uninstall".  If that is the case, you should restore ChimeraX from backup, and then do the remove.     HTH,     Greg On 3/16/22 18:37, Shivam Gupta via ChimeraX-users wrote:
