Select complelementary of range

Hi Team, How do I go about selecting everything that does NOT lie between a given range of residues? For instance I want to select everything that is NOT r.410420. Hi Pranav, There are special symbols you can use in the command-line specifiers, like "~" to mean NOT. So residues other than 410-420 would be specified in a command like this color ~ :410-420 red See the documentation on command-line specifiers: <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/atomspec.html> <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/atomspec.html#combinations> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
