Hi Krishnan, If the morph model is #2, then the command “coordset slider #2” will show the slider again. It really should save/restore in a session. I will open a ticket for that. --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab

Hi Krishnan, It is saying you do not have the hardware for sequential stereo. So it is not a ChimeraX error as far as we know. However, if you believe you have the hardware for sequential stereo you can use Help... Report a Bug. Maybe you can use one of the other kinds of stereo. <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/camera.html> Best, Elaine ----- Elaine C. In particular, sequential stereo requires a workstation graphics card that can output alternating left eye and right eye images. Currently those are Nvidia Quadro and AMD Radeon PRO graphics cards that have 3D Stereo support. You also need to connect the graphics card to a suitable display, like a 3D TV, or 3D projector, and have the matching eye wear. HTH, Greg On 9/9/2022 9:59 AM, Elaine Meng via ChimeraX-users wrote:

FYI, it turned out that 3D stereo used to work, but that a Nvidia graphics driver update reset the settings. So the solution was to go to the Nvidia control panel and re-enable 3D stereo. -- Greg On 9/9/2022 10:10 AM, Greg Couch via ChimeraX-users wrote:

Hi Krish, I don't know of any movie file formats that handle sequential stereo (left and right eye images interleaved). You could record in side-by-side stereo (left and right eye images are next to each other in the same video frame image). If you manage to record a stereo movie you then need a movie player that can playback in stereo. I don't know of any stereo movie player software. Let us know if you figure out how to make and play stereo movies. Stereo glasses technology has been nearly dead for 5 or 10 years (since it failed with consumers in 3D TVs). Virtual reality has probably helped drive stereo glasses to oblivion. We don't have a virtual reality recording capability in ChimeraX but that technology exists and maybe some day we will pursue it.
