ISOLDE on Mac M1/M2/M3 or on Linux CentOS 7
Hello,
Could you please tell me whether your latest Version of ISOLDE would either run on a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) or on a Linux box with CentOS 7 installed?
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Mark
Hi Mark,
On the Mac, sure - current versions of ISOLDE are compiled to run natively on Apple Silicon (with surprisingly good performance, given how low-power the chips are!). Unfortunately CentOS 7 is out, though - CentOS 8 is the current minimum Linux OS required to run ChimeraX.
Best, Tristan
