
The mseries slider appears inside chimerax main screen. Hi Krishnan, I believe it will work if you just use the slider's context menu (right-click inside the slider, or if on Mac, Ctrl-click) and uncheck the item "Dockable tool." That will save a preference so that the next time you bring it up, it will not be docked. You have to click in the middle of the tool, not the title bar (which would show a different context menu). This command will also make the Model Series slider panel always start as a floating window instead of being docked in the main window. ui dockable false "Model Series" Tom
